How much do your homes cost?
As of August 2019, our new homes for sale in Temple-Belton ranged from $169,000 to $263,000. 

We do not quote a base price and go up from there.  All our homes are completed with our outstanding standard features so you can buy your home with the knowledge that you weren't nickeled and dimed to death during negotiations!

What kind of warranty do you offer?
Jerry Wright Homes provides a one year builder warranty that covers failures in workmanship or materials, a two year warranty on systems(behind the walls) in the home and a 10 year warranty on the structural elements of the home. (2/10 warranty). Homes are enrolled in the Centricity Warranty Program.   Buyers receive a warranty book which explains all coverage.

Do you help with  buyer closing costs?
Jerry Wright Homes will pay a very generous portion of your loan closing costs and prepaid reserves required by your lender.  We also pay for your title policy and property survey.   

Do you have a "preferred lender"?
We do not have a preferred lender.  If you do not have a lender yet, we can refer you to several local lenders who have a good track record and can finance your new home quickly, at current market interest rates. 

Can I customize my home during construction?
Yes you can! Depending on the stage of construction, you can choose everything right down to the brick and rock. If a home is further along in the building process, you can usually still choose your carpet, lighting, ceramic tile, accent tiles and granite. Jerry Wright gives every buyer a chance to customize their home if possible.

What appliances are included in Jerry Wright Homes?
New homes include a glass top self cleaning electric range, automatic built in multi-cycle dishwasher, built in microwave and garbage disposal. As of August 2019, Jerry Wright Homes installs Whirlpool or Maytag brand appliances.   Homes in the Plains at Riverside may have a wall oven and separate cooktop, depending on the floorplan.

Are your homes energy efficient?
Jerry Wright Homes are built to meet or exceed the energy efficiency requirements for VA loans, FHA loans and for local city building code requirements. Homes feature insulated doors, low E glass thermal pane windows, 13-15 SEER rated heating and air conditioning units, Energy Star appliances, lighting and ceiling fans, blown attic insulation and foam around any voids that may allow heat or cold movement.

Higher rated spray foam insulation is also available for additional charge prior to the sheetrock phase of construction. 

Do you build custom homes?
Yes we do!  In fact, we love working with custom home clients.  We build in all price ranges, on your land or on one of our lots in a subdivision.

What does it cost to build a custom home?
Custom home prices depend on many factors, such as location, size of the home and the amenities and features that you want. The sky and the budget are the limit!  

Jerry Wright builds custom homes in the Central Texas area from the $169,000 range to the $1,000,000+ range.
